Inorganic and Organic Molecular Model Sets
RM 160.00
This molecular model sets is designed for school teaching.
This molecular model sets allow you to visualize the bonds between atoms in three dimensions. The elements are represented by coloured balls and the bonds by flexible rods.
Each atom has the same number of holes as the number of valence electrons it needs to complete its outer shell. For example, Carbon has four electrons in its outer shell, so it needs four more to be complete.
The black carbon ball has four holes, allowing it to form four bonds and gain the electrons it needs. With this set you can demonstrate single bonds using the short white rods, and double or triple bonds using the long gray rods.
